Thanksgiving Luncheon and Christmas Auction

Join us for MVCA's 18th Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon and Christmas Auction! 

When: Thursday, November 20
  • 10:40-11:20 - Kindergarten-2nd Grade  
  • 11:00 - Combined Grades (If you have students in separate K-5 grade classes)  
  • 11:30-12:00 - 3rd-5th Grade  
  • 12:15-1:00 - 6th-12th Grade  

Where: Mountain View Christian Academy Gymnasium

Who's Invited: MVCA students and their families

Cost: Tickets for the luncheon are $10 if purchased in advance and $12 if bought at the door on the day of the luncheon.  Students who order lunch that day will be charged for a large lunch. 

Donations: We are also looking for families to donate sliced hams and whole turkey breasts. (Please let Mrs. Luci Walker know ASAP if you will be donating a ham or whole turkey breasts) We are anticipating needing 30 whole turkey breasts and 20 hams. For those families who choose to donate a ham or whole turkey breasts, you will receive 2 FREE Adult Tickets to the luncheon for your donation. ALL DONATIONS ARE DUE TO THE SCHOOL BY Tuesday, November 18th.
  • Kindergarten - 2 boxes of Instant Mashed Potatoes         
  • 1st grade – 2 boxes of Stuffing Mix  
  • 2nd grade – 1 24 count pack of Hawaiian Dinner Rolls 
  • 3rd grade – 2 big cans of Yams (No fresh Yams, Please)  
  • 4th grade – 2 12oz cans of Green Beans 
  • 5th grade – 2 12oz cans of Green Beans 
  • 6th grade – 1 jar of Turkey Gravy 
  • 7th grade – 1 pint of Heavy Whipping Cream  
  • 8th grade – 1 lb. of Real Butter  
  • 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grade – 1 large or 2 small Desserts 

Silent Auction: During the Thanksgiving Luncheon we will also be having a Christmas Silent Auction. This is also a fundraiser for the PTF. Each of the classes is preparing a themed basket to be given to the highest bidders. There will also be other items available for bidding.
