Guidance
High school students are encouraged to begin planning for life after high school with the start of their freshman year. Throughout their four years of high school, students will be challenged academically, physically, and spiritually. Students are encouraged to explore different career paths and are guided to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and spiritual gifts. Students discover, with the help of faculty advisors, how their gifts best fit with their plans for after high school, whether it be college, military, gap year, or career. The faculty advisors work with each grade level to help them through this process.
While students are encouraged to take ownership of this process, the journey through high school is a partnership between parents, students, and faculty. Working with students and parents to plan for life after MVCA is one of the goals of the faculty advisors.
