Jesus answered, "The foremost is, 'Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
Mark 12:29-31 (NASB)
Love the Lord your GodStudents are encouraged to show their Love for God with all of their hearts, souls, minds, and strength. Worship, prayer, study of Scripture, academic excellence, and physical well-being are all components of a life dedicated to loving God and bringing Him glory in all things.
As students mature, they are encouraged to take a place of leadership among the study body, serving on the chapel worship team, encouraging the study body with devotionals, and mentoring younger students as they grow in their walk with Christ. |
