If you didn't know, we have a pretty cool library and tech lab nicknamed "The Labrary"! 
Miss Cooke works hard to make the Labrary relevant to all students. Check back regularly to find out what's happening.

Technology

Mountain View Christian Academy, under the direction of Miss Cooke and our volunteer technology support team, offers a wide variety of technology for our students and staff. This includes but is not limited to:

• In-school network storage space for every staff member and student
• Microsoft 365 Outlook email for every staff member and student
• Microsoft 365 suite of applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive cloud store for every staff member and student, accessible from both school and home
• Two computer labs with desktop computers for student use, with additional desktop computers in several classrooms
• A desktop or laptop computer for every staff member
• FACTS for managing classroom attendance, lesson plans, grades, assignments, and student information
• TestOut IT training courseware for middle school computer classes
• Projectors in every classroom; many classrooms have SMART Lightraise interactive projectors or SMART interactive boards 
• Wi-Fi internet available throughout campus
• Various other web-based resources for use in teacher-directed curricular activities

Book Donations

From time to time, people ask if the labrary is accepting donations. At this time, we do not need any bulk donations. Miss Cooke is a part of several librarian groups (including one for Christian school librarians!) and as they meet, she learns of books we would love to put in the library. She has created an Amazon Wish List that you can find here, so feel free to choose any of the items from this list to donate!
