2. Schedule a tour of the facilities by calling the office at 540-868-1231.
3. Complete the entire enrollment application and submit the $200 enrollment fee. This fee is refunded if the school denies the student admission. Signatures are required by all responsible parties.
4. Schedule a diagnostic test for grade (elementary) or class (secondary) placement, if necessary. Incoming kindergarten students are required to take an entrance exam. There is no fee for any of these tests.
5. After the application and payment is received, a records request will be sent to the previous school. The application, records and test results will be reviewed and a letter of acceptance or denial will be sent.
6. If the student is accepted, parents pay MVCA the full tuition, or pay half and enroll in FACTS to pay the balance, or make 11 monthly payments by automatic bank withdrawal through FACTS Management System. Tuition assistance applications are made through FACTS (https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3R028). For additional information, or help with the financial forms, please conact our Direcotr of Finance, Mr. Gary Bordelon at gary.bordelon@ccmv.com.
7. Applicants for kindergarten must have a copy of their birth certificate, immunization record and kindergarten physical exam supplied to the school prior to the first day of classes.
8. Students transferring from another school should have current immunization and school records, including home-schooled students. However, it is the parents’ responsibility to make sure all necessary records are kept current.
9. Secondary students make their class and elective selections. Parents and students are asked to review the Student Code of Conduct and sign the agreement.
Mountain View Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin. Students with identified disabilities or special needs will be evaluated on an individual basis to determine if our program would be able to meet their physical and educational needs. Any transfer student accepted for enrollment will be accepted with a 4-week conditional period to allow us to evaluate if we can effectively meet the student’s spiritual, academic, and behavioral needs. The school reserves the right to make enrollment decisions based on its Statement of Faith and Biblical convictions concerning but not limited to a family’s religious background and lifestyle choices.
